80 to 89 iNCH screen sizes, measured diagonally Sharp recently announced an 80.iNCH 1080p 120Hz LED-backlit LCD TV for "only" $5500, although it's NOT 3D-capable. If you are looking for a 3D-ready flat panel display and are prepared to shell out the BIG bucks, consider an 85.iNCH 1080p professional plasma.
If you DON'T need to wall mount your HDTV monitor and have no problem going with a projection television set (that's considerably bulkier and deeper compared to a flat panel TV) if it will save you some serious cash, consider a Mitsubishi 82.iNCH 1080p 3D-ready DLP HDTV.
Speaking of 3D, another possibility (if you've got the right kind of space for it) would be to purchase an 88.iNCH 16:9 aspect ratio front projection screen and 1080p 3D projector, or an 86.iNCH 16:10 aspect ratio screen and 1280x800 WXGA 720p 3D projector.
Don't care about three dimensions??? Other options include an 87.iNCH 16:10 whiteboard with an Epson WXGA 720p HD projector with built-in speakers and DVD/CD (NOT Blu-ray Disc) player, or an 83.iNCH 15:9 aspect ratio screen paired with a 1280x768 DLP projector.
Audio system, Blu-ray player, HD tuner/DVR, cables, 3D glasses, et cetera sold separately!
